Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions families ask us most
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Call us at (925) 799-7382 — we’re happy to talk it through.
What services does TrueSeva provide?
TrueSeva offers hourly home care, 24-hour and live-in care, Alzheimer’s & dementia support, and post-hospital recovery care, along with companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, and transportation.
How do you screen your caregivers?
Every caregiver goes through an in-person interview, background check, and reference check before joining our team. We look for experience, reliability, and genuine warmth.
Can I choose or change my caregiver?
Yes. We match you with a caregiver based on your needs and preferences, and if it’s ever not the right fit, we’ll find a better match — no hard feelings.
Do you provide medical care?
We specialize in non-medical home care: companionship, personal care, and daily living support. For skilled nursing or medical needs, we can refer you to trusted local partners.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Dublin, Pleasanton, Danville, San Ramon, Livermore, Castro Valley, Walnut Creek, Fremont, and the surrounding Tri-Valley & East Bay communities.
How do I get started?
Call us at (925) 799-7382 or fill out our contact form. We’ll schedule a free consultation to learn about your needs and put together a care plan.
Is TrueSeva licensed and insured?
TrueSeva has applied for licensure as a California Home Care Organization (HCO) and our license is currently pending approval. Every caregiver is bonded and insured in the meantime.
What is the cost of home care?
Cost depends on the type and number of hours of care needed. We’ll provide a clear, written estimate after understanding your specific situation — no hidden fees.
Do you offer live-in care?
Yes, we offer both live-in and hourly live-out caregivers, and we’ll help you figure out which arrangement makes the most sense for your family.
Can care start on short notice?
We do our best to accommodate urgent requests, including after a hospital discharge. Call us and we’ll let you know what’s available right away.
How do you match caregivers to clients?
We take time to understand routines, personality, and care needs through a consultation, then match you with a caregiver whose experience and temperament fit well.
What if I need to change my care schedule?
Schedules can flex as needs change. Just let your care coordinator know and we’ll adjust your plan — there’s no long-term contract locking you in.
Are your caregivers trained in dementia care?
Yes, our caregivers receive training in memory-friendly communication, redirection techniques, and safety practices for clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
How can I provide feedback?
We welcome feedback any time — by phone, email, or through our contact page. Your input helps us keep improving the care we provide.
